CCA Overview
The Environment Club at YTPS nurtures passionate environmental stewards through immersive learning experiences. Members engage in practical activities, environmental projects, and educational visits, whilst also participating in nationwide sustainability competitions. These experiences help them develop a deeper appreciation of environmental challenges and empower them to take meaningful action.
Students demonstrate care by actively contributing to environmental causes, whilst taking responsibility by developing and implementing ecological solutions. Through involvement in both school and community environmental initiatives, members develop essential skills in leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving. The club also provides a platform for students to connect with peers who share their environmental passion, enabling them to work together to create lasting positive changes.

School Green Awards 2025
The Singapore Green Awards celebrate organisations, schools and individuals that demonstrate outstanding commitment to environmental sustainability and green innovation. These awards recognise efforts in areas such as energy efficiency, sustainable building practices, waste reduction and environmental stewardship, helping to encourage a culture of sustainability across Singapore.
These awards recognise and celebrate the inspiring sustainability efforts of Yew Tee Primary School. Over the past year, our students have taken the lead in meaningful green initiatives — cultivating vegetables through hydroponics, upcycling old T-shirts into reusable items like tote bags, and actively participating in weekly Clean–Dry–Sort recycling practices.
Yew Yee Primary School is awarded the Vanda Miss Joaquim Award and Outstanding Project Award.
