CCA Overview
YTPS Badminton CCA develops students' sporting excellence through this dynamic racquet sport. Students master essential techniques including serving, smashing, and defensive play, while systematic footwork training enhances their court coverage and agility. Regular training sessions build physical fitness, stamina, and strength through structured drills and practice matches.
Beyond technical skills, the CCA nurtures important school values as students develop resilience through challenging training, demonstrate sportsmanship in competitions, and build teamwork during doubles play. Through dedicated coaching, students progress from beginners to competent players while maintaining an active lifestyle and forming lasting friendships within our badminton community.

Our heartfelt congratulations to the Senior Girls’ Badminton team for clinching the 2nd place after a commendable run of 8 matches in the National School Games.
Throughout the season, the team demonstrated admirable perseverance, resilience, and discipline. Undeterred by setbacks and rigorous training, they remained focused, displayed exemplary teamwork, and played each game with quiet determination and strength of character.
This achievement is a true reflection of their hard work and spirit.

Our heartiest congratulations to our Senior Badminton boys, who fought hard and achieved 2nd place in the League 4 finals of the National School Games.
Both pairs of doubles displayed incredible resilience — bouncing back from trailing margins with grit to secure crucial wins.
Our singles players gave it their all, showing unwavering mental and physical strength in every rally. It was a delight to watch our boys play. You’ve made us all proud. 🥳
